DESCRIPTION
Located on the banks of Echo Lake, our lovely home with 400+ feet of lake shore, six feet from the water and a 20' dock with row boat; is private and secluded. It's a short walk to the Echo Lake Inn, the Inn at Waters Edge, Echo Lake Beach and Tyson Village Store (less than 5 minutes). The House is located just off the Road to Reading on the lakeside opposite Route 100. It is tastefully decorated in country style, extremely comfortable with a wood fireplace.

Our house has three bedrooms, two baths, living room, fully equiped kitchen, an upper and lower deck, covered porch right on the lake and plenty of space for entertaining and relaxing.

In Summer and Fall we have all that Vermont has to offer close at hand. Hiking, biking, horseback riding, tennis, golf, antique hunting and even Old-Time Locomotive Train rides are nearby. Swimming, boating and fishing are all found on Echo Lake and the Black River. Okemo Mountain and Jackson Gore base lodges are five miles away and Ludlow seven miles for our all-season enjoyment.

In Winter, we enjoy skiing at Okemo (five miles away), or Killington (The Killington Gondola is eight and one-half miles away); the largest ski area in the East. Bromley, Magic and Stratton are also well within driving distance. Cross-country skiing on prepared trails is available less than five miles from the house at Fox Run (a golf course in summer and fall), as well as prepared snowmobile trails that are abundant in our area. we have even taken horse-drawn sleigh.
